Minneapolis Marriott Southwest

The banquet hall was spacious and had a terrific layout for the MN Farm Bureau state convention awards banquet. Our evening meal was great. Kudos to their kitchen staff!! The wait staff were all very friendly and kind.

This hotel was booked for us as part of a Minnesota Vikings bus tour and I'm so glad it was. The king bed room that we got was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the view from the ninth floor overlooking the small pond was a beautiful winter wonderland this time of year. The hotel staff always had a kind smile and went out of their way to make sure our entire crew was taken care of. The hotel was tucked away in a nice neighborhood as well. We'll be heading back if/when we are in the area again.

Great room, very clean. The shower was very spacious and great water pressure. Contemporary design. It can get a bit busy on the weekends as it convention hotel. So if you don't mind a little noise in hustle and bustle in the lobby and common areas this is a great spot.

We were looking for a quiet spot for a night in the metro, and I remembered this place from a conference I had attended a few years ago. We booked a corner one bedroom suite, and the room was outstanding. The price was really good, too. We ate an early dinner at the Blue Birch restaurant. I ordered the Pad Thai which was great. It was fairly quiet in the restaurant area at that time and one of the chefs came out and was particularly interested how I liked the pad thai. She said she was from Thailand and when she started, she encouraged the restaurant to make it more "authentic". Well she did a good job, because it was great. Overall attentive, friendly employees and a fantastic stay.

I have been hosting a work event here at the Marriott for the past 5 years. The service is absolutely impeccable. Every detail is well planned and executed. The staff treats all of us like we are family. I am so happy that we decided to have our event here year after year. The food is delicious whether it's from the restaurant menu or a apecial plated dinner. Special thank you to Lori, Lisa (both of them!) and Debbie who go out of their way making sure our event is as amazing as it can be.

I've stayed here lots of times. Love the Marriott. I can trust in the quality and cleanliness. Always good service. Love the gym and pool. The restaurant food is always amazing.

Room was a little dirty. AC set to 63, never reached that. More like 73 or higher. Many other people that were staying here at the time also complained about their hot rooms. I’m normally always cold but even I woke up sweating the two nights I was there. I brought my swimsuit to enjoy the hot tub but it had no water in it. Other than those things it was a nice stay.

The Minneapolis Marriott Southwest hotel event staff were easy to work with and helped to create the perfect event for our company. Ben, Lisa, Debbie, and Elaine were our main event coordinators. Debbie and Elaine were our food coordinators. We were impressed with their top-notch service and flexibility. Before the events started each day, they sought us out and introduced themselves right away. They let us know how to contact them with anything we needed. A great example of this was when we reached out to Elaine to have a breakout room setup in a different way on short notice. Elaine helped right away by sending this information to their event team to have the room adjusted. The room was then adjusted in a very quick manner and once completed Elaine circled back to us to make sure our need was met. Overall, the staff was a key part in what made our event run so smoothly at this location and why we would recommend it to anyone in the future.
